Aug. 8, 1809: Charles Amlaw TO Baptist Amlaw

This Indenture made the eighth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand and eight hundred and nine Between Charles Amlaw of the Town of Chazy County of Clinton State of New York of the first part and Baptist Amlaw of the above town County and State of the second part. (Witnesseth?) that the party of the first part for and in consideration of the Love, goodwill and affection which I have for him have given, granted and by these presents do freely give and grant unto the said Baptist Amlaw of the second part his heirs and (executors?) or (administrators?) during the life of the said Baptist Amlaw of the second part one half of that Lot of Land Number Sixty five lying in Chazy on the Lake shore_said ?..................................? his farm without any restaint so long as he shall live.
