Lost? Confused? Sorry, this is the first time I've tried building a website this involved. The diversity of the information I had to include made it impossible to use one of those "automatic" website building programs. I'm constantly trying to improve the way everything links together, if you have any suggestions, please let me know. Anyway, if you've been here before and want to see what's been added recently, start in the "Additions and Corrections" page. If this is your first visit here, well, you're already on the right page! If you aren't sure about exactly who your Amlaws were, if you only have a name and approximate date of birth, you may find it useful to look at the "name index". If you find a name that looks promising, just click on it and it will take you to a "Family Group" page for that individual. On that page, the names in red are links to other family group pages for that person. The Reference Links under the individual entries will take you to any references to that individual elsewhere in the site. The Family Group pages are sort of the central reference points on the site The "Content Page" has links to all the data here. There is a link to the content page on the top of all the pages. Here the raw data is presented unconnected to the respective family group or individual(s) that it pertains to. There are however links to the relevant person(s) next to or within each data entry (when known). Any text in red is a link to some (hopefully) relevant piece of information, just click on the text, have a look, then use the "back" button in your browser to get back. All the Blue lettering are my own notes, not to be confused with anything even remotely like hard facts. The actual text of any record will be in Black. Wow, the colors man, the colors! Groovy! If you see this icon anywhere, clicking it will take you to the "Family Group Page" related to the person/place/record where you see the icon. This icon means I can't identify that person as belonging to a particular family group. Click the icon to see whatever notes I have to try and help identify this person. If you can identify them, please let me know!!! This section will be constantly "under construction" as new data comes along. |
