                Sir we hereby resign our right to administer on the estate of
    Charles Amlaw deceased and request the same may be granted
    to Anthony Trombly-of Chazy-Chazy July 6th 1829

The People of the State of New-York, by the
Grace of God free and independant : Anthony Trombly of Chazy in our County of Clinton Merchant a principal creditor of Charles Amlaw deceased
formerly a soldier in the Revolutionary Army of the United States
in the Regiment commanded by Colonel Moses Hazen      Send Greeting

Whereas the said Charles Amlaw  as is alledged, lately died intestate, having whilst living and at the time of his death goods, chattels or credits, within this state, by means whereof the ordering and granting administration of all and singular the said goods, chattels and credits of the said deceased, may be well and faithfully administered, applied and disposed of, do grant unto you the said
        Anthony Trombly full power by these presents to administer and faithfully dispose of all and singular the said goods, chattels and credits: to ask, demand, recover and recieve the debts which unto the said deceased whilst living and at the time of his death did belong , and to pay the debts which the said deceased did owe, so far as such goods, chattels and credits will thereto extend, and the law require: you are likewise, to make, or cause to be made, a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods, chattels and credits of the said deceased, which have or shall come to your hands, possesion or knowledge, and the same so made to exhibit into the office of
the Surrogate of the county of Clinton at or before the expiration of six calender months from the date hereof ; and also to make and keep a just and true account of your administration and to render the same when thereunto lawfully requested, and we do by these presents ordain, depute, and constitute you the said Anthony Trombly administrator of all and singular the goods, chattels and credits which were of the said Charles Amlaw
